Growing Rural Opportunities and Preparing for 2027

Dear friends and supporters,

At Más por TIC, we continue working to help rural communities turn technology into practical opportunities for learning and entrepreneurship. During this reporting period, we advanced our 1·2·3 programmes, supported Fundación ANDI’s work in Boyacá, and brought our Board of Directors together to refine the organization’s strategy for 2027.

Moving forward with our 1·2·3 programmes

Our 1·2·3 x TIC and 1·2·3 x Mi Negocio programmes remain central to this work. Together, they connect education, digital skills, and entrepreneurship with the needs of rural communities. As we continue their implementation, our focus is on helping participants understand how technology can support their ideas, address local challenges, and create opportunities within their own territories.

For our rural youth project, these programmes offer a foundation for connecting learning with action. We want young people to see a place for themselves in their communities’ development—and to have the skills and support to contribute.

Supporting rural entrepreneurship in Boyacá

In Boyacá, we continued supporting Fundación ANDI through the 1·2·3 x Mi Negocio initiative, alongside Campo Vivo. This work focuses on strengthening rural entrepreneurship through training in digital tools, communication, and marketing.

The initiative connects closely with our commitment to rural youth. Stronger local businesses and productive organizations can create environments where young people have more opportunities to contribute their knowledge, develop ideas, and participate in their communities’ economic life.

Refining our strategy for 2027

Our Board of Directors also met to refine Más por TIC’s organizational strategy for 2027, including our support for technology-driven rural youth entrepreneurship.

This planning process is an opportunity to connect what we are learning through programme delivery and partnerships with our priorities for the coming year. Supporting rural youth remains part of that discussion: how we can help young people develop useful skills, pursue entrepreneurial ideas, and build connections that support their progress over time.
